Cairo
Cairo city is in fact the most important city in Egypt, It is the country’s capital, its largest city, and the center of perhaps everything. Many travel packages vacation to Egypt would begin in Cairo.

The Establishment of Cairo

The Fatimids went on and established fortified walls around the city with huge gates that were opened every day in certain hours following a set schedule.
From this period until today, Cairo has played a vital role in the economic, political, and social life in Egypt. The city also grabs the attention of numerous travelers who tour Egypt.
The Geographical Location of Cairo
Located at the last part of the Nile Valley near the beginning of the Nile Delta, has always occupied quite a strategic geographical location.
The city in factually located at the East Bank of the Nile. However, includes the East and West Bank of the Nile and several other places. Cairo is a marvelous destination to begin various day tours around Egypt.
With its significant location, is located around 480 kilometers from Sharm El Sheikh, 230 from Alexandria, around 500 from Hurghada, 680 kilometers away from Luxor, and around 900 kilometers away from Aswan. Many tourists who spend their vacations in Egypt would love to explore the city.
The Weather of Cairo
The weather in Cairo is fairly beautiful all year round. Of course, the same as other destinations around the world, the city gets hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. However, the weather is still fine to enjoy a vacation in Cairo.
The temperature in the summer ranges from 30 to 35 degrees, while in the winter it ranges from 15 to 25. Of course, there are days when the temperature exceeds these numbers.
Nevertheless, these are rare days around the year. In fact, it is never very hot or cold in the city of the thousand minarets.

With a history extending to 1000 years, Cairo today became one of the major hubs of Egypt and the Middle East with many events, conferences, arts’ activities, and exhibitions taking place in the Egyptian capital.
