Day 1: Luxor
When you arrive to luxor we will pick up you to check in your hotel .
Overnight Luxor
Day 2: Luxor Sightseeing
West bank :
Morning will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer to the west bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings,
Kings valley :
for more than 500 years the pharaohs of 18 , 19 , and 20 dynasties the chose valley of kings to make them tombs , we discover 64 tombs until now .
we found in kings valley tombs of great pharaohs like , Ramses II , Thutmose III , Hatshepsut , Seti I … ecc , for bad luck they were all stolen , just the tombs of King Tut ankhamon the thieves didn’t succeed to steal it .
Then we move on to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut .
Queen Hatshepsut :
she was daughter of Thutmosis I, she ruled Egypt about 23 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C),
she was one of the the pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt , she made a lot of things , she built a temple in west bank of luxor , two obelisks in Karnak , she wanted to built the biggest obelisk ever built if it had been finished the work .. ecce her temple in west bank of luxor one of the most beautiful temples in ancient egypt
Then we will stop to visit colossi of Memnon .
colossi of Memnon :
they were built in front of the temple of the king Amenhotep III which were destroyed by an earth quick , just the colossi remains until now for bad luck .
lunch in local restaurant in luxor
East bank :
Continue driving to the east bank of Luxor to visit Karnak Temples.
Karnak :
the biggest example of worship in the history about 2000 years to built it , from middle kingdom to Greek – Roman period most of the kings ruled egypt added something in karnak to dedicated to God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.
Then we will finish the tour in temple of Luxor .
Temple of Luxor :
the temple built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.
Later drive to Aswan by modern air conditioned car .
Over night Aswan
Day 3: Abu Simbel
Morning early we will drive from Aswan to Abu simbel by air conditioned car,about 3 hours to arrive to Abu simbel to visit 2 temples were built by Ramses II .
the first temple dedicated to the gods Rahor Akhty , Ptah , Amon Ra and Ramses II him self , the second temple dedicated to the Godes Hathor and the favorite wife to Ramses II , the queen Nefertari .
Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing
Our Egyptologist guide will pick up you from your hotel to start the day tour in Aswan
Philae Temple :
we will start the tour by temple of Phila which dedicated to goddess Isis mother of Horus and wife of Osiris .
High Dam :
after that we will go to visit The High dam of Aswan one of the most important projects in Egypt .
Unfinished obelisk :
we will visit the quarry of granite stone , there we will see the unfinished obelisk of Hatshepsut which it would be the biggest if it had finished (42 m ) but after 9 months of work they found crack so the left it the
