2 Day Luxor from Marsa Alam

In the morning we will pick up you from your hotel in Marsa Alam, driving to Luxor by a private air-conditioned car to get,

In 2 days will visit The west bank in one day and the second day the east bank of Luxor , Overnight in a hotel at Luxor, lunch in a local restaurant.

Day 1 East bank: Karnak  & Luxor temples

When you arrive Luxor we will go to visit the biggest temple dedicated to a god ever built, we will visit the great Hypostyle hall with 134 forests of giant pillars were built, the obelisk of Hatshepsut 29 m high .. etc.

after that, we will go to visit the temple of Luxor 3 km south of Karnak, which was built by Ramses II and Amenhotep III.

Then we will go to a local restaurant to give lunch and taste the Egyptian food, after lunch we will check in a hotel in Luxor.

Overnight Luxor.

Day 2 the West bank: Kings valley & Hatshepsut temple

In the morning after breakfast we will go to visit west bank of Luxor  to visit :

valley of the kings :

For more than 500 years the pharaohs of 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties the chose valley of kings to make them tombs, we discover 64 tombs untilnow..

We found in kings valley tombs of great pharaohs like Ramses II, Thutmose III, Hatshepsut, Seti I … etc.

 

Then we move on to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Temple of  Hatshepsut:

she was  daughter of Thutmosis I, she was one of the pharaonic women who reigned ancient Egypt , she made a lot of things , she built a temple in west bank of Luxor , two obelisks in Karnak, she wanted to build the biggest obelisk  ever built if it had been finished the work .. ecce her temple in west bank of Luxor one of the most beautiful temples in ancient Egypt.

Then we will stop to visit colossi of Memnon.

Colossi of Memnon:

The king Amenhotep III built the colossi in front of his temple for his bad luck an earth quick destroyed all the temple just the colossi remains until now.

After finishing the tour drive back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
